The second of two men charged in connection with a drive-by shooting on the Day Star First Nation has been sentenced.
In Wynyard Provincial Court yesterday (Tue), 21-year-old Delmont Asapace of the Kawacatoose First Nation was given 21 months in jail, after being credited for time he spent on remand.
He had pleaded guilty to Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
His co-accused, 19-year-old Jaydon Asapace, received the same sentence earlier this month.
Back in May of last year, Punnichy R-C-M-P were called to an incident on the Day Star First Nation, and noticed what appeared to be shotgun pellets near the front door of a residence, but no one was injured.
