Charges have been laid in connection with a fatal two-vehicle collision near Kamsack.
At about 8:30 last night, a car and an S-U-V collided head-on just north of Kamsack on Highway 8.
The 78-year-old woman driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man and the woman in the S-U-V were taken to hospital for medical attention.
However, R-C-M-P say the male driver fled before he could be checked over, and was later arrested on the Keeseekoose First Nation.
36-year-old Jonathan Scott Straightnose has been charged with Failing to Stop at the Scene of An Accident, and Driving While Disqualified.
