Next Thursday at 7 p.m. in Preeceville, at the legion hall, the Saskatchewan Coalition for Health Care will hold a meeting.
The subject is on the controversial decision to temporarily suspend ER and acute patient services at the Preeceville hospital, and what needs to be done in the meantime.
A meeting was held on Monday on the same topic, with ideas and questions discussed before a group of reps that are attending a Sunrise Health Region meeting on June 29th.
Spokesperson Stacey Strykowski says they extended an invitation to anyone in the Sunrise Health Region, Rural and Remote Health Minister Greg Ottenbreit, and Canora-Pelly MLA Terry Dennis, but none of them showed up.
However staff at the Preeceville Hospital did go to Monday’s meeting, and showed their support for healthcare in the community.
