Tips on dealing with water damage, either to your home, vehicle, or business due to the recent downpours, are being offered by SGI.
One of them is to contact an SGI Broker and set up a claim, or by using the my-SGI service, others are making a list of all the items that have water damage, and even keeping track of cleaning time and expenses as they may be covered through the insurance claim as well as taking photos or video of damaged property to give to your adjuster.
SGI Media Relations Manager Kelley Brinkworth says the amount in a person’s claim will vary, depending on the contents inside the home, among other factors.
Brinkworth also noted for Estevan residents, who dealt with torrential rain Sunday, the facility that included the SGI License Issuer, Claims Centre, and Driver’s exams, is experiencing some water problems, and therefore can’t conduct any business at this time. But what customers can do, Brinkworth adds, is visit one of the other SGI offices in the community, or can use the my-SGI service for other SGI-related business.
