Today marks the start of the application process for retail liquor store permits in 20 communities including Hudson Bay, Kelvington, Preeceville, Wadena and Wakaw.
This is the 3rd round of Requests for Proposals that covers communities outside of the provinces cities.
The first round began on July 7th and covered Regina and Saskatoon while the second began on July 18th and covered Yorkton, Melville, Lloydminster, Moose Jaw and Kindersley.
The deadline for the 20 communities in the 3rd round is September 7th.
The successful applicants for the locations will have the option to operate an integrated or standalone liquor retail operation.
