Sentencing has been handed down to a Waywayseecappo woman arrested after a fatal two-vehicle collision involving a school bus.
42-year-old Sharon Murdock pleaded guilty to one count of Impaired Driving Causing Death and two counts of Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm yesterday (Mon) in Wayway Provincial Court.
She was sentenced to 18 months in jail, followed by a 3-year driving prohibition.
In April of 2014, R-C-M-P say an S-U-V collided head-on with a school bus on the reserve.
A 44-year-old man who was the front passenger of the S-U-V was later pronounced dead in Russell hospital.
