Hunting illegally in Saskatchewan has resulted in huge fines for two Manitoba men.
Back in December of 2015, conservation officers learned about three moose shot on posted land near Canora.
An investigation resulted in the arrest of 55-year-old Charlie Boucher and 40-year-old Georgie Lamirande of the Pine Creek First Nation.
In Yorkton Provincial Court, the two men pleaded guilty to unlawfully hunting on posted land, unlawful possession of wildlife, and illegally transporting wildlife to another province.
They were each fined 75-hundred dollars.
