An intense Colorado low will impact southeastern Saskatchewan and southern Manitoba. Light snow will spread along a frontal zone beginning tonight. As the Colorado low approaches, the northeast winds and snow will increase on Christmas day with the worst of the storm expected to hit late Sunday afternoon and into Monday with blizzard like conditions. Total snowfalls with this system are likely to be in the 15 to 30 cm range, so it would be best to take this into consideration while making holiday travel plans.
