Most physicians believe teamwork and accountability through public reporting improves care.
A Saskatchewan Medical Association survey also indicates a large number of doctors believe they are at risk of burnout.
One in two specialists say they are at risk, as do two out of three general practitioners.
SMA president, Dr. Intheran Pillay says the survey data confirms there are a large number of doctors who are managing, but are at a very high level of stress.
The SMA recognize the problem and are ready to work on solutions to lessen that rate of burnout within the profession.
