A Yorkton man accused of attempting to rob Scoops ice cream bar, has been found not guilty on all charges.
A judge delivered his verdict in favour of 31-year-old Troy Mamchur in Yorkton Provincial Court this (Fri) morning.
He said he had a reasonable doubt that Mamchur was the one who did it, due to differences in witness testimony.
Just before 10 o’clock in the evening on August 25th, a man with a tea towel covering his face walked in to Scoops, and demanded cash from a co-owner, who was alone inside.
The woman refused, and chased the suspect away, while wielding scissors.
