A Key First Nation Band Councillor facing drug-related charges from February 14th, is back in custody.
64-year-old Clarence Papequash was arrested in Regina on Tuesday, after police allegedly found a pill on him.
He’s scheduled to return to Regina Provincial Court tomorrow (Fri)
In Yorkton on March 13th, Papequash pleaded guilty to Possession of Codeine for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Ammunition While Prohibited, and was scheduled to be sentenced on April 24th.
Back in July of 2014 while he was Chief of the reserve, Papequash admitted to Trafficking Morphine, and received a 6-month conditional sentence.
