The Saskatchewan Abilities Council in Yorkton has unveiled their new accessible min-van.
Yorkton Re/Max Bluechip Realty, the City of Yorkton and the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation partnered together to purchase the over 44 thousand dollar van.
John Denysek with the Sask Abilities Council says until now, wheel chair users had no other option than to use the 10 passenger bus.
The van is valued at over 44 thousand dollars and can contain 2 wheel chairs along with a passenger and driver.
The new vehicle will help enable the new Sask Abilities individualized program, and one on one support for the individuals in need.
