Melville, Yorkton and Preeceville are among stops today for Interim Leader of the NDP Trent Wotherspoon.
Wotherspoon is touring the area speaking to towns, cities, business owners as well as riders of STC, following cuts as a result of the provincial budget.
Listening is the basic reason for the visit according to the Interim Leader of the Opposition, to establish how to support and rally for communities across the province.
Wotherspoon met with Yorkton Mayor Bob Maloney, as Yorkton continues to serve as the poster child for Saskatchewan cities, regarding revenue loss as a result of the budget.
Yorkton is experiencing the highest per capita revenue loss of any Saskatchewan city, at nearly 2.3 million dollars.
