A Yorkton resident is among the ten recipients of the Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal, for 2016.
Lori Glauser is a well-known face in Yorkton’s cultural scene, having spent years volunteering her time and efforts, as a chair of numerous local cultural organizations, including the Yorkton Arts Council and Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils.
The medals, which recognize volunteerism and outstanding community involvement, will be handed out by Lieutenant-Governor Vaughn Solomon Schofield, at a ceremony set for April 24th, in Regina, as part of National Volunteer Week.
