Today (Thurs) a North Battleford judge has ruled there is enough evidence to make Gerald Stanley stand trial.
It was the third day of a preliminary hearing for Stanley, charged with second degree murder in connection to the shooting death of 22-year-old Colten Boushie last August.
On August 9th, 2016 on a farm near Biggar, Boushie was in a car when an argument started, and it escaladed quickly to the point where the Red Pheasant First Nation man was fatally shot.
According to the victim’s family and friends, the car he was in was seeking help with a flat tire.
Prior to the prelim a rally was held outside the Provincial courthouse this morning (Thurs).
