The Portage Terriers completed the 3-peat as they won their 3rd straight MJHL Turnbull Cup title after a 1-0 win over the OCN Blizzard in Game 6 last night (Wed) at Stride Place.
Chase Brakel had the lone goal just 1:16 into the 1st period for the Terriers, who won the Best of 7 series 4-2.
Kurtis Chapman made 27 saves in the Portage net for the shutout.
Elkorn’s Josh Martin was named the Playoff MVP while Jeremy Leipsic was the Playoff leading scorer and Kurtis Chapman was named the Playoffs Top goaltender.
