A Wapella man has been released from custody on strict conditions, following an incident near the town this week.
Late Sunday afternoon, the Moosomin R-C-M-P received a report of a male driver trying to run another driver off the road twice.
When police went to the home of the accused, he allegedly pointed a shotgun at them, before finally dropping it.
54-year-old Garry Steinke is charged with Dangerous Driving, Threatening to Use a Weapon on a Police Officer, Pointing a Firearm, and Unsafe Storage of a Firearm.
He’s scheduled to return to court in Moosomin on May 16th.
