Two Swan River residents who admitted to breaking into a drug store and stealing prescription drugs, have been sentenced.
In Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Tue), 34-year-old William Beaulieu was given credit for 647 days time served, but must spend another 70 days in jail.
32-year-old Karla Barker was given credit for 237 days time served, but must spend another 120 days behind bars.
In February of 2016, the pair broke into a Swan River drug store, and stole an undisclosed amount of drugs, including fentanyl.
Fentanyl is a highly addictive drug that is estimated to be 100 times more potent than morphine.
