Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall is continuing to show his lack of support for a federally imposed carbon tax policy by sending a letter to Prime Minister Trudeau.
The clarification letter comes after a leaked memo allegedly suggests changes coming to the transfer payment program.
The memo describes the federal governments plan to use provinces stances on Carbon Tax when it comes to renegotiating the transfer payment program.
A program that comes up for renegotiation in 2019.
Premier Wall says he is getting tired of the idea of Saskatchewan having to float the bill for others while the province is facing it’s own financial challenges.
