There’s been a report of a lockdown at a school on the Cote First Nation.
Reports indicate that an incident happened at the Chief Gabriel Cote Education Complex after 9 o’clock this morning (Wed).
An adult male pulled a knife on an employee, though no students or teachers were hurt during the incident, and then climbed up to the roof of the building.
The school went into lockdown as soon as the person was on the roof, but the protocol has since been lifted. The individual came down at 10:30 a.m. and was arrested without incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
