Water levels in the town of Pelly are very low, and action is being taken.
The Village is asking residents to reduce consumption, and refrain from watering lawns and gardens or filling containers at this time, as it will put additional strain on current water levels.
Town council is investigating a possible source of the problem, such as resident consumption or breaks to the water line.
Residents are also asked to check their basements and toilets for leaks, and to notify the Village office immediately of any leaks or were using large amounts of water this week.
The water may be shut off without notice, which will result in a boil water advisory.
