The Moose Jaw Miller Express exploded for 14 runs on 15 hits in their victory over the visiting Yorkton Cardinals.
Moose Jaw’s Ben Dalke had a monster day with the bat. Dalke had three runs on four hits including a three-run shot in the first to get the part started. He also added four RBI and a stolen base.
For the Cardinals, Nebraska’s Parker Smejkal scored two runs, had an RBI along with three hits including his second homer of the year. Yorkton also had a homer from Chance Wheatley.
Moose Jaw, now 4-5, used five pitchers in the game. Arman Lakhaniwas was credited with the win. He entered the game in the fifth and threw two scoreless innings.
Cardinal starter Jacob Womack, an import from Henderson, TX, lasted five innings. He was hit for five runs on seven hits for the loss.
