That’s how many STARS Air Ambulance in Manitoba did between 2016 and 2017.
Out of those missions, the organization went out to Dauphin 15 times, Altona and Neepawa 6 apiece, and Grandview once.
Spokesperson Cam Heke says the number of calls vary from town to town, because of factors such as population, a lack of advanced life support, or some rural hospitals not staffed 24/7.
But he says the work they are able to do wouldn’t be possible without support from the public and other groups through donations.
