The identity of the 56-year-old man that died following a single vehicle collision near Neudorf, has been released by the family of the victim.
A family member told GX94 News that the driver and lone occupant of the van was Ernest Lavallee, also known as Mack Lavallee to those who knew him.
The crash was reported last Thursday (27th) to the Melville RCMP, who got to the scene located on a grid road 11 kilometres south of Neudorf.
When RCMP members got there, they discovered a van on the west side of the road down an embankment. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Melville detachment, along with an RCMP collision reconstructionist continue to investigate.
