A man accused of deliberately driving a bulldozer into a home in the R.M. of Calder last week, has made another court appearance.
59-year-old Ronald Fatteicher, who lives in the Calder area, faces several charges, including two counts of Attempted Murder.
At his appearance today (WED), in Yorkton Provincial Court, Fatteicher was ordered to undergo a 30-day psychiatric assessment, in North Battleford, to determine whether or not he is fit to stand trial. He’ll be back in court on September 5th.
The two people inside the home during the July 25th incident escaped harm, but the man at the control of the machine sustained minor injuries.
