A man charged in connection with a disturbance on a passenger bus this spring, has been sentenced.
29-year-old Victor Goldstein of Consul, Saskatchewan was sentenced on Monday to 2 years behind bars, followed by 18 months probation.
A DNA order was also made and he will have a lifetime firearms prohibition.
The incident occurred on March 14th, aboard a bus, travelling on Highway 1, between Sintaluta and Wolseley.
Witnesses aboard the bus reported the man brandishing a large knife and behaving erratically, but no one was injured.
