A 47-year-old man from Alonsa, Manitoba has been acquitted of a charge of Production of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking.
In Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Wed), the judge ruled that Canada’s search and seizure laws had been violated, so Jeffrey Turko was found not guilty.
Back in May of 2015, Ste. Rose R-C-M-P were involved in raiding a marijuana-grow operation inside a commercial building in Alonsa.
Police seized 65 plants, as well as drug paraphernalia.
