People who took part in a recent survey were asked why do they think Premier Brad Wall is leaving politics.
55 per cent said negative reasons; most felt that Wall is leaving to escape the fallout of poor decisions, while six per cent within that group pointed to the GTH land deal.
On the flip side, 30 per cent of participants think after 10 years as Premier, it’s time to move on, with 8 per cent within that group suggesting he probably wants to spend more time with his family.
41 per cent of those surveyed think Wall’s departure is a good thing for the province.
Wall announced in August that he is stepping down after 14 years as SaskParty leader, which included 10 as Premier.
