Virden RCMP have arrested and charged two men after a structure fire that took down a 102-year-old building.
19-year-old Jack Sandy of Virden is facing numerous charges, including arson, and was remanded into custody until October 12th when he appears in Brandon Provincial Court.
A 22-year-old was released on a promise to appear in Brandon Court on December 8th.
On Sunday (24th) the Two Creek School, first built in 1915, was found fully engulfed in flames before it was extinguished.
Mounties say an immediate cause of the fire couldn’t be determined because the building was condemned and full of debris.
