We now know the name of the man charged in connection with a hunting accident in the R-M of Mountain that injured a 16-year-old boy.
The Dauphin R-C-M-P say it happened just before 7:30 last Friday night on Highway 271, near Pulp River.
A 67-year-old Duck Bay man was hunting beaver when he allegedly fired toward the ground, into the brush, and struck the boy, who was also hunting in the area.
The boy was taken to a Winnipeg hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while Paul Flett was charged with Careless Use of a Firearm.
Flett makes his first court appearance on November 28th.
