A former Wynyard resident is in custody, after failing to attend his trial in that town.
56-year-old Daniel Rousseau was in Wynyard Provincial Court yesterday (Thu) morning, but left town during the lunch break.
He was arrested in Yorkton, and the Crown Prosecutor believed he was heading back to Ontario.
Rousseau was remanded into custody for a bail hearing on Wednesday.
He was originally charged in April of 2006 with Impaired Driving, Trafficking Morphine, and Possession of Morphine for the Purpose of Trafficking.
