The Melville Millionaires completed the sweep of the Highway 10 battle this past weekend with a 7-2 home-ice win over the Yorkton Terriers on Saturday night.
Damian Bentz (3G 1A) & Ethan Kopyczn (4A) led the way for the Mils with 4 point nights while Dayton Heino and Clayton Eisler also chipped in with a goal and 2 assists each.
Aidan Steinke and Montana Streit had the other goals for Melville.
Cole Keenleyside and Shane Sherban scored 3rd period goals for the Terriers.
Colby Entz earned his 3rd straight win making 17 saves while Terrier netminder Ben Laidlaw started for the Terriers and he allowed 6 goals on 28 shots while Joe Marcouiller made 8 saves on 9 shots.
The Mils next action will be on the radio on Tuesday night when they visit the Notre Dame Hounds. GX94’s Yorkton Dodge Junior hockey pregame show starts at 7:50, pxp at 8PM.
The Terriers next game will be on Wednesday night as they travel to battle the Estevan Bruins at Affinity Place. We will have that game on GX94 as well with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey, pregame 6:50 pxp at 7PM.

In the MJHL,
The Swan Valley Stampeders won their 3rd straight game on Saturday blanking the Portage Terriers 4-0 at the Centennial Arena.
Brett Evans (pictured above) was sensational between the pipes making 37 saves for his 2nd shutout of the season while Keaton Jameson led the way offensively with 2 goals & 1 assists.
Noah Basarab had 1G 1A and Trevar Mann also scored for the Stamps.
Former Stampeder Lasse Petersen made 24 saves for the Terriers in the losing cause in his return to Swan River.
The Stamps will go right back at it tonight (Sun) hosting the Winkler Flyers at 7PM.
