The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign in Yorkton has been on for over a week now.
And it’s off to a solid start, raising $9-thousand dollars.
The fundraising goal for the kettle campaign is the same as last year’s — $45-thousand.
The kettles are in a handful of locations in Yorkton — the Parkland Mall, Save on Foods, Walmart, Superstore and Liquor Store.
In addition to donations of money, food and gifts, Salvation Army Lt. Samuel Tim says volunteers at these kettles is another thing they need.
