One of two men arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Melville on November 23rd, has been denied bail.
In Yorkton Provincial Court this (Wed) afternoon, 21-year-old Evan Helmeczi was remanded into custody for his next court appearance in Melville on December 18th.
Last week, the other man facing charges from the incident, 22-year-old Tristan Stradeski, was freed on two-thousand dollars bail, and is scheduled to return to court in Melville on Monday.
Helmeczi is accused of breaking into the home of Stradeski, while Stradeski is accused of shooting a 25-year-old man with a 22-calibre rifle.
