Threatening Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appears to be a trend on social media, as another man has been sentenced for doing so.
Derek Hurrell of Borden, Saskatchewan pleaded guilty to one count of uttering threats and was given a 2-year suspended sentence.
It was in February this year that Christopher Hayes of Grayson received a sentence after being found guilty of threatening Trudeau on social media.
In both instances, they didn’t have direct contact with Trudeau.
In Hurrell’s case, court was told that the 34-year-old went on Facebook and threatened to “blow out” Trudeau’s brains.
