Some new equipment has arrived at the Yorkton Hospital.
Health Foundation executive director Ross Fisher says the 2nd of 2 new 95 thousand dollar anesthetic machines were needed.
“We actually do a lot of surgeries in the Regional Hospital – usually close to 35-hundred surgeries a year,” Fisher said. “So you want to have the best equipment possible for our people in this area.”
The 2 new machines cost $95-thousand dollars each. They were able to purchase them through a partnership with the health region.
