Yorkton’s Salvation Army Christmas Kettle campaign nearly reached six figures this holiday season.
And Lieutenant Samuel Tim says they have the Parkland Region to thank for it.
“People really supported us by giving food, giving money and even by giving their time to stand on those kettles, because otherwise we wouldn’t be able to do this,” Tim gratefully said. “We really appreciate all the support.”
The campaign received more than 99-thousand, 4-hundred-dollars, which was used to purchase 150 food vouchers and 270 toys for Christmas, with the balance being used for day-to-day operations.
