The Nature Conservancy of Canada has purchased a parcel of land just north of Good Spirit Provincial Park.
Spokesman Cameron Wood tells us what the Spirit Creek area is being designated for…
“Going to contribute to our network of conservation land across Saskatchewan and across Canada really. This particular piece of land is a mixture of wetlands and forest habitat with some kind of ephemeral grasslands mixed in there as well.” said Wood
In all 65 hectares, or 160 acres, will support waterfowl breeding sites.
