The government of Saskatchewan is taking steps to engage students in the democratic process.
The government announced the release of a new board game called It’s Democracy at Government House yesterday.
Ken Cheveldayoff says this game is important for many reasons.
“Today we are not only excited to recognize the past years celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary of confederation, but to showcase a legacy, educational project that was developed as part of Saskatchewan’s plan to recognize and celebrate this special anniversary.” stated Cheveldayoff.
Cheveldayoff also said the game presents an opportunity to learn about Saskatchewan democracy in a fun and engaging manner.
