A 19-year-old man has made another court appearance in connection with an assault and arson at a residence in Crane River, Manitoba.
Earl Moar is charged with Aggravated Assault, Assault, and Arson with Disregard for Human Life, and has been remanded in custody for March 13th in Dauphin.
Ste. Rose RCMP were called to the scene in the early morning hours of January 7th.
When officers arrived, the home was on fire, and the reported victim of the assault, a female, was unaccounted for, and human remains were found inside the residence.
