Prime minister Trudeau was back in Regina for the second time in less than a week yesterday, as he paid a visit to the Evraz Steel plant, and addressed the Trans Mountain project. Trudeau says the pipeline will get built, because not only is it essential to get Canadian oil to market, it’s a big part of developing Canada’s economic and environmental initiatives for years to come. It’s is part of a series of visits to plants across the country by Trudeau, as he discussed the Canadian governments efforts to protect the steel and aluminum industry against the trade tariffs from the US government.
