A Kamsack doctor has been charged with improperly prescribing opioids to patients.
Doctor Murray Davies is up on two charges of unprofessional conduct under the Medical Profession Act.
However, a hearing date has not been set.
The Saskatchewan College of Physicians and Surgeons says other doctors were concerned that the patients in question may have been selling or giving the drugs to other people.
Back in 2014, Health Canada barred Doctor Davies from prescribing methadone, which is a painkiller used to treat opioid dependence.
