A new development in the case of a B.C. man, arrested following a traffic stop near Wolseley last year, that led to a drug charge.
On April 26th, 2017, Broadview RCMP stopped a vehicle travelling on the Number One Highway, and a search of the vehicle led to the discovery of about 30 pounds of marijuana.
In January, 49-year-old John Edward Anga, of Kamloops, was committed to stand trial on one count of of Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Trafficking.
On Friday (23rd), it was determined that he will be tried by judge alone, from October 9th to the 11th, in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench.
