Two females arrested in connection with a drug and counterfeit money operation in Esterhazy last summer, have made another court appearance.
In Esterhazy Provincial Court today (Tue), 35-year-old Tara Danchuk had her matters committed to Yorkton Court of Queen’s Bench for trial at a later date.
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old girl, who can’t be named, had her matters adjourned until April 10th.
They were among five people charged following the July 20th raid of an Esterhazy home, which resulted in the recovery of drugs, guns, and counterfeit cash.
Two of their co-accused, 20-year-old Shelby Ducharme and 30-year-old Troy Ducharme, already pleaded guilty to numerous charges, and each received a two-year prison sentence.
And 54-year-old Denise Danchuk received 30-months of probation for Production of Marijuana and Obstructing Police.
