Greenwater RCMP arrested three youth, after responding to a break and enter call at Marean Lake March 22nd.
Mounties say at the time, suspects entered the home of an elderly couple, while they were sleeping, and stole two pellet guns, a purse and keys to the couple’s vehicle.
The suspects then fled the scene in the couple’s Buick Enclave and another stolen vehicle, but were eventually arrested. Nobody was injured during the incident.
The trio, from the Yellow Quill First Nation, are facing charges including theft of a motor vehicle, mischief under 5-thousand dollars and break, enter and theft when they appear in Rose Valley Provincial Court May 16.
An 11-year-old was allegedly involved in the incident but wasn’t charged due to their age.
