The Saskatchewan legislature held a moment of silence today (Tues) to honour the victims of Monday’s van attack in Toronto.
“We must send an urgent message, to Canada’s largest city, [that] today, Saskatchewan is Toronto strong,” stated Premier Scott Moe. “We honour those who died, we pray for their families, and we honour those who are injured, and we pray for their full and speedy recovery.”
Premier Scott Moe says many people in Toronto were supportive of Humboldt after this month’s bus tragedy.
Now, he says its Saskatchewan’s turn to support Toronto.
NDP leader Ryan Meili added his voice of condolences to the victims and families in Toronto.
