The Saskatchewan government has restored the SaskJobs website.
The job information was integrated into a federal website and the provincial website was removed at the start of the month.
Trade minister Jeremy Harrison says there are legitimate concerns about the user friendliness of the national job bank, so SaskJobs is back in service for the next six months.
“We’re going to be working with employers with regard to a transition to a national job bank, and it’s something that we’ve heard from employers and from potential job seekers. We’ve heard the message and we’re moving forward.” He said.
The NDP says the federal website did not have the correct number of jobs available in Saskatchewan.
