The Yorkton Regional High School along with many other schools throughout the province will be taking part in Walk and Roll happening tomorrow (Wed).
Walk and Roll organizer Roby Sharpe says this year will mark the 12th annual edition of the event.
“Basically we ask people of Saskatchewan it was declared province wide and we got a certificate from Gene Makowsky, the Minister of Rec and Leisure. It was declared province wide so walk, roll, skateboard, ride your bike and choose an active mode of transportation to get to school or work.” said Sharpe.
The YRHS were at Yorkton City Council last (Mon) night to declare tomorrow (Wed) as Walk and Roll day in Yorkton.
