Premier Scott Moe was in Yorkton this (Fri) afternoon to speak at the Chamber of Commerce business luncheon.
Moe was asked how the announcement from Doug Ford affects the province.
He said it will affect Saskatchewan, but in a positive way.
“Talking about taxing our industries here in Canada and we’re concerned specifically about the province of Saskatchewan and Premier Ford’s announcement this (Fri) morning that he will be pulling out of the carbon tax or the cap and trade tax system in the province of Ontario, is in acknowledgement that it is a cost of jobs, industries and people.” said Moe.
Moe adds that there is a certain path to be taken in regards to the Carbon Tax, which some have already taken.
