A Waywayseecappo First Nation woman arrested after a fatal two-vehicle collision near Elphinstone, has made another court appearance.
27-year-old Tanis Cote was in Minnedosa Provincial Court yesterday (Tue), where she had previously pleaded guilty to Driving While Over .08 Causing Death and Driving While Over .08 Causing Bodily Harm.
Her matters were adjourned until August 21st.
Last August, a car was travelling southbound on a grid road, when it failed to stop at the intersection, and collided with an S-U-V travelling east on Highway 45.
A passenger in the car, a 31-year-old woman from the Keeseekoowenin First Nation, was pronounced dead at the scene, while two other passengers, along with the two occupants of the S-U-V, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
